Remembrance Sunday Tribute onto Big Ben

On Remembrance Sunday, Crucial FX projected 3D poppies on Elizabeth Tower – better known as Big Ben – to commemorate all those who have lost their lives in battle.

The 80-metre 3D projection which decked the neo-gothic walls displayed extracts of poems written or selected by the poets’ laureate for England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.  We created the illusion of the poetry being drawn onto Elizabeth Tower by developing a sketch type motion across the structure, supported by a back-drop of powerful iconic imagery for Remembrance Sunday.

Mark Rivkin, Managing Director of Crucial FX said: “We have worked closely with the Houses on their Remembrance Sunday projections for several years now. It is always an honour and a privilege.”
